The milk frother features a world novelty: The patented blender, a spiral attached to the rod, can be adjusted according to the amount of milk that needs frothing. How does it work? When frothing a little milk, move the spiral on the rod downwards. Move it upwards when frothing the maximum amount of milk ¿ this is the secret for turning any ordinary milk into extraordinary! Simply press the button on top of the lid and the compact MOUSSE turns milk within 20 seconds into frothy foam. Then, spoon it out of the carafe on top of your coffee. Use warm or cold skimmed milk for easy frothing. The glass carafe is made of heat- resistant, see-through ultra-light borosilicate glass. The lid is made of plastic covered with non-slip rubber and can be wiped dry with a damp soft cloth. The carafe is dishwasher and microwave safe. Requires 2-AA batteries, not included.

Way to go if you don't want to spend a lot of money for a frother. I found that it's best to use cool milk then microwave it hot. Don't forget to adjust the spring for the amount of milk you use - this seemed to be the problem that others had.


Like the first 3 reviewers i was annoyed when my milk hardly frothed ( i was used to the handheld aerolatte)and sulked for 2 weeks! I finally took the manual out to read again and realised that i needed to adjust the spring mesh to the amount of milk i had in the beaker.i.e: if i poured milk up to the max. line of the beaker, i needed to move the curved part (middle) of the mesh up, so that it sits on the surface of milk. like wise if i put less milk, lower the curve of the mesh. it is important that the mesh sits on the surface of the milk. I BOUGHT THIS ON CLEARANCE FROM A DILLARD'S DEPARTMENT STORE THAT WAS CLOSING IT'S DOORS...FORTUNATELY, I ONLY PAID AROUND $16.00. IT DOESN'T FROTH WELL AT ALL. I HAVE NOT TRIED THE MORE EXPENSIVE FROTHERS YET...BUT I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK TO THE MANUAL HAND PUMP MODEL (INSERT PIECE LOOKS LIKE A COFFEE PRESS)...IT DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB OF MAKING THICK FROTH. BODUM CHAMBORD MILK FROTHER & BONJOUR MILK FROTHER CAFFE FROTH EIFFEL. HOPE THIS HELPS.

i had the manual frother and then i broke the glass. and i couldn't find it anywhere again (i shouldn't have thrown the whole thing out!). so i bought the battery operated one to try and it really doesn't work. it barely froths the milk at all! i am returning it. the manual one is a thousand times better and works SUPER well.


My manual plunger Bodum got a chip in the top (which I ended up being able to smooth out successfully with a nail file) so I went on Amazon to see if they still made this and was happy to see that they do, but noticed the $19.99 automatic one-touch battery operated version and thought I would try it instead since it seemed to be an "improved" version. While easy to use and nicely designed, it does a POOR job of its basic function, frothing milk. I can't get anywhere near the volume of froth that I had with the plunger Bodum; which always gave excellent results. I know many people say use lowfat milk but I mostly used Half & Half, heated in microwave, then plunged quickly until I got double volume or more. Sometimes new and improved isn't always better!
