This is my third 4-battery, handheld BonJour frother in 11 years. They do breakdown after awhile, but that's to be expected in an inexpensive gizmo with rapidly spinning parts. This one is newly designed and seems much more solidly built than its earlier incarnations.
I've tried the 2-battery Aerolatte, but it's irritatingly slow and doesn't give as much foam. I'll choose the power of a 4-battery model over a 2 any day. As far as foam quality, both brands seem the same to me.
The frother works great for making Greek Frappe Coffee. The blade is the best at whipping up the coffee. The only problem is the push button. It is too hard to push down, and you have to push it at the right spot. Otherwise, it goes too slowly.

Our Bonjour "Primo Latte" frother finally gave up the goose, and we didn't hesitate to get a replacement; we had been pleased with the product. Instead, we bought this "Cafe Latte Frother", as it appears to be Bonjour's next generation. Wow. I've never seen such a chasm between construction quality and performance. It is super solid and powerful, and yet it doesn't froth the milk at all! It's worthless.
It you want to froth, I recommend you get BonJour Primo Latte Frother with Stand, Black/Brushed Aluminum while they're still available; less power, not as solid, but works 10 times better.
This is great! Had one that broke, so backed off a star in the review, but got another one. It takes seconds, easy clean and pop it back in the stand.
I think the 4 batteries give it good power.
