I bought this Froth and Sauce after other froth failures. This one is well worth your money. We have a second home and I have to buy a second one. I miss mine toooo much when we are there. Last time my husband surprised me and brought my one from our first home with us. We had company that weekend and I can't tell you how many of my guests are now ordering one. This is the best!


I cannot say enough good things about this frother! I put in cold fat- free milk and pressed a button - that's it. The machine did the rest. I tried to pour the milk/froth out and only a few tablespoons came out - the rest was thick and frothy - and warm. It is just like what you would get at a gourmet coffee cafe. I am so excited about being able to make my own coffee drinks at home now in addition to the recipes for sauces and other creams. This is definitely worth the money and not some poorly-made gizmo. You won't be disappointed. If you did want your milk thinner you simply lift the frother off the base. You cannot submerge the frother but that's not a problem. I put my finger over the opening of the gear tube and rinse the inside out. You will love it!


I bought this so I could save some money by not going to starbucks all the time. I've only frothed milk but it works great. And at $5 a latte, it will pay for itself in no time. I gave it 4 stars because it is kind of a pain to clean. As the milk heats up, it leaves a film on the bottom.
PS. I have found the key to a good latte is to use whole milk. Skim, non-fat don't froth well.


I was given this as a gift and I thought "Oh no another useless gadget". Boy was I wrong! This product is fantastic. Warm frothy milk in the coffee in the morning...so much better...I am afraid I can't go back to just plain cold milk. It is easy to clean and easy to use. After use I just rinse it out real quick and set it on the dish strainer next to my sink. If you are a coffee with milk drinker this "gadget" is a must have item. It really makes your coffee taste far better.


This is by far the best frother I have seen. I would NOT, howver, recommend the one that froths only. I like the "froth 'n sauce" version because the paddles are interchangeable allowing you to make froth that is lightly frothed (oopen-hole paddles) or extremely frothed (small-holed paddles).

If I had been the manufacturer I would have added a time for a few dollars more since the unit makes froth too thich for me it I leave it on until it goes off automatically. You can, howver, lift the unit off the base at any time in the cycle. I would have also made the froth container clear instead of opaque and put 1 cup and 2 cup fill markings on it.

These 2 criticisms are minor in my opinion, as I think is it by far the best frother on the market today and is considerably less that competitive models that are not nearly as good.


I should have received the Froth n'Sauce within a week of ordering, I did not, not because of the company but because of Fedex. When I emailed the company via Amazon of my failure to receive the machine, the owner, and I did say owner, called me within 10 minutes of my sending the email.
She had already researched where my Froth n' Sauce was in transit and gave me all the information I needed. I was able to call Fedex (a whole other pain!) and pick up the machine.
When I returned home I opened the box, washed the pieces, and added milk to start frothing.
Wow, wow, wow! Everything I had read on the reviews were true! I used non-fat milk. The froth was foamy, almost meringue-like. The residual milk, hot and perfect for the latte. I am looking forward to experimenting with milk with a little more fat, using milk with more fat will likely produce foam that is creamier, and with flavors.
Having tried other methods of frothing, both hand and machine frothing, I find the Froth n' Sauce beyond the pale. Easy to use, easy to clean, superior frothing.
When I combine the quality of the product with the absolutely superior customer service, I would say "Choose Froth au Lait for the perfect latte". Drink up, and Sante!


I looked at this for a long time before I bought it. No regrets! I haven't tried sauce with it, but it's on the agenda. Now, I'm someone that is more in love with gobs of hot milk than froth. This does an AMAZING job on froth, but I wanted more hot milk and not a lot of froth. So, after some experimenting, I just use the sauce whips for my lattes and hot chocolates. Absolutely fabulous. I pour in milk, add protein powder, fibersure, cocoa and sweetener, mix it a little by twisting the sauce whips back and forth a few times, turn it on and walk away. Four minutes later, I have a high protein, high fiber hot chocolate that will knock your socks off. My new favorite winter breakfast! This is worth every penny. I'll update when I try hollandaise in this!


We have been using our Froth Au Lait every day for over a month.

This machine not only saved me about $450 over the price of a espresso machine, but saves me on buying cafe mistos from Starbucks every day. This little wonder produces AMAZING foam and enough hot milk for my wife and I to have great Cafe au laits every morning. If you must have espresso coffee, you need to buy an espresso machine, but you will get second class foam from the steam wand.

Like other reviews say, the machine needs to be cleaned up after every use, but it takes less than a minute.

Our Froth Au Lait has been given a permanent place on our kitchen counter.


This little appliance is awesome! For over a decade I've begun my mornings with a cup of cappuccino at home (unless I'm traveling). My Barista cappuccino machine (purchased from Starbucks in 1997) still makes perfect expresso, but the foaming part is cumbersome and unpredictable. For a number of years I made foam with a device that siphoned cold milk and spit it out as hot foam, but milk caked on the many little connectors, and sometimes I couldn't get it to work at all. Last November my husband got the Froth Au Lait, and it consistently makes thick, rich foam. Hooray! You will not be disappointed.


I was skeptical, very skeptical about the Froth 'N Sauce. Having purchased 2 frothers, from two different companies, and being disappointed by both, I ordered this one with tongue in cheek, yet hoping for the best. The later is exactly what I received! This is the best frothing machine ever. Even the froth at the local, high-priced coffee houses, doesn't measure up to the light, creamy, fluffiness I create in the privacy of my own home. If you are looking to buy a frother, I recommend this one without any reservations. While I have only had it for a month, it is being used at least 5 times a day, and each time it produces perfectly!
Easy to use and easy to clean: Just measure out the amount needed (which there's a chart included) - pour the cold milk into the pitcher, place the pitcher securely on the base, push the button and the blue light illuminates...the whips and blends, performing the frothing magic within 3 minutes. When it shuts off, simply remove the lid, spoon the froth onto your latte and enjoy! (There's also a slot in the lid for adding flavored sauces and syrups)Clean up is quick and easy. Remove the lid, remove the blades (which simply lift out of the center shaft), wash with hot soapy water *(but do not submerge the pitcher in water). The only thing some people may find a bit bothersome is washing around the center shaft that holds the whipping/frothing blades. However, for me, it's almost not worth mentioning - but I want to be thorough.

The Froth 'N Sauce comes with two sets of blades (whipping & frothing) and a delightfully delicious recipe booklet - filled with all kinds of treats we are excited to try. The platinum base and light grey pitcher look nice on the counter-top and will match any decor. From beautiful, thick and creamy chocolate mousse, to the best latte and lots of choices in between this little machine is a hit at my house. And should it conk out I will not hesitate to order a new one immediately.
